Niantic, Inc. is an American software development company based in San Francisco. Niantic is best known for developing the augmented reality mobile games Ingress and Pokémon Go. The company was formed as Niantic Labs in 2010 as an internal startup within Google.
We partnered with Niantic in Jun 2023 to build their e-commerce store for www.nianticsuplly.com — they had an shopify theme that looked outdated, so we collaborated to build a unique design that communicates the brand vision, look and feel, and talks to the users.
We do our kick-off call where we discuss the direction, and startegy we are heading towards — then we come up with few concepts based on our discussion (usually in 2 days) and from there we decide on one of the concepts and build the rest of pages based on it.
we usually do 3 review calls, scheduled on Wednesday on the first week, then Tuesday and Thursday for the second week. Throughout the work, we chat in Slack and comment in Figma.
